Mafoder Foundry is located in Casablanca, Morocco, it has a very modern Casting Foundry with integral offices, pattern shop, laboratories, & packing plant. The philosophy of the company is that they will endeavour to cast & machine products from pipe fittings to special spare parts in various materials on a short delivery time. Through Petropipe, Mafoder was awarded a very prestigious contract for the supply of Ductile Iron pipe fittings in 2005. The award, over 1 million US Dollars, for the support of the rebuidling of Iraq's infastructure was based on Mafoder's ability to cast, machine & pack over 20 tonnes of pipe fittings per week for seventeen weeks. Mafoder not only achieved this feat but exceeded all of the client's expectations.
Pattern-less Mould Making Machine
Mafoder has recently installed a pattern-less mould making machine. This machine is revolutionary in its kind. It allows for fast delivery schedule on complicated castings. Out of a 3-D CAD file, the machine is capable of fabricating a sand mould ready for pouring OVERNIGHT. Mafoder is able to provide for a job involving special valve assembly with casting parts weighing up to 4 Tons, The customer is requiring one month delivery period including the time to make a pattern. They are very few foundries in the world that can bid on these tight delivery conditions.
